Delete via the App

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly through the LoveBug mobile application.

Open Settings

Navigate to your profile tab and tap on the Settings icon.

Select Account

Tap on Account Settings or look for the Delete Account option at the bottom.

Confirm Deletion

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. You may be asked for a reason (optional) to help us improve.

Immediate Effect: Once you confirm, your profile will be hidden from other users immediately, and your data deletion process will begin.

Manual Deletion Request

If you are unable to access the app or prefer a manual deletion, you can request account deletion via email.

Please send an email from your registered email address (if applicable) or provide your registered phone number to:

Required Information:

Full Name associated with the account
Registered Mobile Number (including country code)
A brief note stating you wish to delete your account and all associated data.

Our support team will process your request within 48 to 72 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Data Deletion & Retention

When you delete your LoveBug account, the following happens:

Profile: Your profile, photos, bio, and preferences are permanently deleted from our active databases.
Interactions: Your matches, messages, and likes are permanently removed.
Subscription: If you have an active subscription, please ensure you cancel it through the Google Play Store to avoid future charges, as we cannot cancel external billing on your behalf.

Retention for Legal Compliance: In accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, we may retain certain information (such as transaction records or reports of serious policy violations) for a limited period for legal, tax, or safety purposes.
